Playing with TV Output
A special feature of your ARCADE 3000 is that you may use it
as a TV console so that your television gives you the picture
and sounds.
To
do
this,
your
television
requirements:
It must be a PAL standard set.
☺
There must be CHINCH sockets for video (yellow) and
☺
audio (white/red), preferably at the front of the set.
If you only have SCART instead of CHINCH sockets, you
☺
may be able to use a SCART adaptor which is obtainable
from a dealer.
Here is how to connect the ARCADE 3000 to the television:
1)
At one end of the TV cable supplied with the ARCADE 3000
there is a single thin 2.5 mm jack plug. Insert this into the
TV output socket (10) of the console.
Important: Only do this, when the console is switched off!
2)
Insert the yellow CHINCH plug into the yellow (video)
CHINCH socket on your television.
3)
Insert the white CHINCH plug into the white (audio)
CHINCH socket on your television.
The red audio socket on the television is not used.
4)
Switch on your television set, and select the "video in"
(normally AV) channel. If you aren't sure how this works,
refer to the instructions for your television set.
