If the automatic setting is still not possible after 10 minutes despite the align-

ment of the incorporated antenna, the reception position is too bad. In this case
please adjust the time manually or change the position of the device.
Manual time setting (24 h)
1. Press the SET key (1) for approximately 3 seconds. "F 0" appears in the display.
With buttons 10 and 11 you can set the time zones, e.g. "F 0" = 12 noon local
time, "F 1" = 1 pm, "F -1" = 11 am etc.
2. Press the SET button again.
3. The date appears in the display. Using buttons 10 and 11, first set the month
and then, after you have pressed the SET button, the day.
4. Press the SET button again.
5. In the display appears e.g. "d 1" = day 1 = Monday, "d 2" = Tuesday etc. Use
buttons 10 or 11 to set the current day.
6. Continue pressing buttons 10 or 11 to reset the seconds to 0.
7. If you press the SET button again, the time appears in the display. Use buttons
10 and 11 to set the hours first and then, after you have pressed the SET but-
ton again, the minutes.
8. After a few seconds the time display appears.
Display Mode
It is possible to show various information, such as the seconds, the date and day of
the week in the display (in the time mode). Select the desired display mode as follo-
ws:
•
Press the SNOOZE button (7). The date currently set appears in the display (5).
When the >-< button is pressed (10), the seconds appear; pressing the >+<
button (11) brings up the weekday.

After a few seconds the time display appears again automatically.
1. Shift the function selector (8) to "ON".
2. Select the desired frequency band with the band selector (12).
FM = UKW; AM = MW.
3. Select a station by turning the TUNING control (6). The station scale (4) shows
the frequency that has been set.
4. In FM mode you can improve reception by using the extensible antenna (16).
For AM mode the antenna incorporated in the device is used. To direct this
antenna, turn the radio or choose a different position to improve the quality of
reception.
5. Adjust the volume as you please with the volume knob (13).
6. To switch off the device, shift the function selector to "AUTO".
