TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
VIDEO OUT Selector is in
"IMAGE" position.
CAMERA OUT Jack is
connected to the VIDEO IN
of the TV.
Source selector on TV is not
set to VIDEO.
No lyrics display
on TV.
TV does not have video line
input.
A CDG is loaded but the
CDG indicator is not lit.
The Camera is facing down. Lift up the Camera.
No image display
on TV. VIDEO OUT Selector is in
"LYRICS" position.
Camera has not warmed up. Wait a minute for the camera to warm up.
Camera Lens is dirty.
Image is blurry.
Camera Lens is out of focus.
Mic volume is set to min.
No sound from mic.
Mic is off.
SOLUTION
Set the VIDEO OUT Selector to
"LYRICS" or "LYRICS + IMAGE"
Position.
Connect the VIDEO OUT to VIDEO IN
of the TV.
Using your TV Remote to select
VIDEO input.
Connect from VIDEO OUT of the
system to the VIDEO IN of your VCR
or Connect to an RF Modulator and
then to the TV cable input. Refer to
" MAKING THE CONNECTIONS
page E8. Check the disc to be sure it
is a CDG. (See Page E17 for details.)
Check disc to be sure it is clean. (See
page E13 for cleaning instructions.)
Set the VIDEO OUT Selector to
"IMAGE" or "LYRICS + IMAGE" position.
Clean the camera lens.
Adjust the lens of the camera by slightly
rotating either left or right until the
display is clear. Do not overturn the lens.
Adjust mic volume to max. Then back it
off to a comfortable level.
Turn on mic with the ON/OFF switch
located on the microphone.
