1.6.5 - Open the visor then close it again; you may want to carry out
the checks described in 1.3.
1.6 - Visor adjustment
The visor locking pin has a visor clearance
take-up system to ensure and maintain per-
fect sealing along the porthole edge. This
system is factory-adjusted. During helmet
use, periodically check:
A) When the visor is fully closed, check that
it homogeneously and symmetrically adheres
to the porthole lip seal.
B) Check that the visor is correctly and
symmetrically recessed in the shell (Fig. 10).
Otherwise, perform the following opera-
tions:
1.6.1 - Using the supplied tool,
screw out the Allen screw in the
visor locking pin (Fig. 11).
1.6.2 - Without applying too
much pressure to the locking pin,
push the visor against the port-
hole seal and, without releasing
it, screw the Allen screw into the
locking pin (Fig. 12) until the right
positioning is obtained (see
items A and B).
1.6.3 - Repeat these operations
(1.6.1 and 1.6.2) on the other
side of the helmet as well.
1.6.4 - Check as explained in
items A) and B).
