AC OPERATION (EXTERNAL AC-DC POWER ADAPTOR)
- This set is equipped with a "DC-jack" capable of accepting an ac-adaptor
with a rating of DC = 5v, 1.5A, and with a plug with the following polarities as
shown (center positive):
- Please use only the supplied ac-adaptor to operate the unit the use of other
adaptors may damage the unit or cause it to malfunction.
- Plug the tail end of the ac-adaptor into the DC-jack (socket).
- Make sure the voltage of the ac adaptor operates at the same voltage as
your household voltage.
- Insert the plug at the end of the power cord into the wall ac socket.
- Press the "on/ standby" key to switch the unit on.
- This unit is designed to operate without ever being totally powered "off". It will
either be "on" or in "standby mode".
- Anytime during standby mode, you can switch "on" the unit by pressing the
"on/ standby" key.
- Save energy by switching the system to "standby" mode.

Instructions
HOW TO SET CORRECT TIME
This unit has a built-in digital clock, which is displayed at all times while the
unit is switched on, other than during the following two situations:
1. When the dimmer function is enabled to have the display brightness level
at 0 (display lights off/ full dimmed).
2. When using the unit functions/controls (i.e. Volume control, FM frequency
tuning, alarm setting etc), as they require information to be momentarily
displayed.
To set the time, follow the below steps:
Switch unit to "stand- by" mode
Press & hold CLOCK SET for 2 seconds display will flash 12 hour or 24 hour
Press TUNE - or TUNE + to select 12-hour or 24-hour and then press
CLOCK SET to confirm your selection
Press TUNE - or TUNE + repeatedly to set the correct hour in the display
and press CLOCK SET to confirm
Press TUNE - or TUNE + repeatedly to set the correct minute in the display
and press CLOCK SET to confirm
Correct time is now set and will be shown in the display
Note: When the digital clock is not set, the digital clock display shall
continuously flash to indicate that the correct time has not yet been set.
