4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn off, unplug the appliance from the power supply, empty the water tank (do it after each
use) and allow it to cool down completely.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device's surface.
In case fabric is adhered to the soleplate due to heat, use a damp cloth and vinegar to detach it.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
If scale blocks the steam holes, use a toothpick to remove it.
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, pour out the water in the tank and store
it.
Soleplate
Starch and other types of residue may be easily removed from the soleplate with a damp cloth.
To avoid scratches on its finish, do not use metallic scouring pads to clean the soleplate and
never place the iron on a rough surface. If synthetic fabrics are ironed at high temperature, both
the fabric and the soleplate of the iron could be damaged. The best way to remove synthetic
residue from the soleplate is to heat it up and iron over an old cotton rag.
Warning: Do not use steam iron cleaners in this iron, since they could damage its parts.
Reboiler
Release the residual steam in the boiler after every use.
Turn the appliance off, unplug it, and let it cool down.
Make sure there is no pressure inside the boiler. Then, let the appliance rest on the opposite
side to the cleaning valve and open it.
Fill the boiler with clean water and clean it with a brush. Shake the boiler gently and pour water
out. Repeat this process 2-3 times and screw the cleaning valve tightly.
Warning: Never attempt to open the cleaning valve while the boiler is under pressure.
Storage
Turn the device off, disconnect it from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely.
Place the iron correctly on its stand. Make sure that there are no traces of water under the
plate, as these may cause stains.
There is a special space inside the steam station to store the power cord and the hose.
Store the appliance in a dry and cool place.
