BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
INSERTING THE BATTERY
- Your body trimmer requires 1 LR6/AA 1.5V battery included.
- Open the battery compartment by turning it in anti-clockwise direction until it matches up with the small unlocking
symbol.
Insert the battery into the compartment by respecting the polarity indicated.
- Reposition the battery compartment cover and turn it in a clockwise direction until it matches up with the small locking
symbol.
In the event that leaks occur from the battery, and the liquid (electrolyte) touches the skin, wash immediately in plenty
of soap and water, or neutralise with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid comes into contact with the
eyes, rince immediately in clean water for 10 minutes, then consult a doctor.
TO BEGIN
- When you use the trimmer on sensitive areas for the first time, take the time to familiarise yourself with the appliance.
Your skin also needs to get used to it.
- This appliance is not suitable for trimming facial hair, head hair or neck hair.
- The appliance comes with two guide combs (2mm and 4mm). We recommend starting by trimming the longest hair
with the 4mm guide comb then reducing the cutting height until you achieve the desired result.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Insert the guide comb required. Make sure that the marking on the guide comb is aligned with the marking on the
trimming head.
1. Place the appliance at a 45° angle to the skin.
2. Slide the on/off button forward to switch the appliance on. When you are trimming dense hair, use slow and controlled
movements.
3. Move the appliance in the opposite direction to the hair growth.
Note: make sure that the flat part of the trimming guide is always in contact with the skin. Do not exert too much
pressure.
TRIMMING ADVICE
- If the length of the hair being trimmed is greater than 20mm, you can cut it to a 4mm length to facilitate trimming.
- The appliance works best in dry conditions. Dry your skin, using a towel for example, when you use the appliance on
damp areas, such as your armpits.
- Soften the skin in sensitive areas such as the torso or scrotum.
MAINTENANCE
- Clean the appliance after each use.
- Slide the on/off button downwards to switch the appliance off.
- Remove the trimming guide if it is still in place.
- Use a cleaning brush to clean the guide combs.
- Use a cleaning brush to clean the inside of the clipping head.
