Battery replacement and installation:
Open the cover of the battery compartment located at
the base of the cash register using a Philips screwdri-
ver (see Fig. 1). Then insert three, 1.5-V LR6 (AA) batte-
ries, while respecting the polarity and as shown in the
diagram (see Fig. 2). Close the battery compartment
cover and screw it on for your children's safety.
Assembly:
The Cash Register from IMC has all its components ins-
talled except for the customer price display. You must
install the price display by pressing gently on the piece
and inserting it in the space designed for this purpose
(see Fig. 3). Once installed, do not try to remove it.
Place the coins and bills supplied in the interior of the
drawer by pressing the TOTAL button on the register to
open the drawer. Gently push the drawer back into its
original position to close it.
Operation:
To turn the cash register ON, press the ON/OFF button
located at the top right of the cash register (see Fig.
4). The screen will turn ON. Press the button again to
turn it OFF. This button activates/deactivates all the
functions that the register performs, and once it is tur-
ned ON, the register is ready for use.
The keypad works the same as any conventional cal-
culator. It includes the add, subtract, multiply, divide,
total and delete functions (see Fig. 4).
Whenever you press a key, the register makes a con-
firmation sound. If you wish, after each operation
you can open the cash drawer by pressing the TOTAL
button. The drawer will open and emit a warning
sound. You do not have to perform this operation to
get the result of a calculator operation.

The cash drawer is used to hold the coins and bills pro-
vided with the product. You can write any information
on the board using any dry-erase (non-permanent)
marker (marker not included). We recommend using a
soft cloth for erasing. Do not use abrasive products for
cleaning: they could damage the adhesive drawings
or the board itself. The cash register has a small com-
partment located underneath the board (see Fig. 5).
To turn on the microphone, you must press and hold
the MIC button located next to the switch (see Fig. 4)
and speak into the flexible microphone to be able to
hear your voice clearly. To deactivate it, release the
button. The speaker is located at the bottom of the
base.
To turn on the hand-held scanner, press the button lo-
cated on the scanner and move the scanner close to an
object. The scanner will beep every time it is brought
close to an object. The register screen will also display
an amount or value.
The button with the musical sign (see Fig. 4) repro-
duces the attention or call sound pre-recorded in me-
mory. Press it whenever you want to play the sound.
It includes a credit card to be personalised with a pho-
to, name, etc. When you slide it through the card rea-
der at the top of the screen (see Fig. 4) it will make the
card-reading sound.
Problem solving
If the sound volume drops or becomes distorted du-
ring use, it is a sign that the batteries are running out.
You must replace them. Do not bring the microphone
close to the speaker or close to sources of sound, be-
cause it may cause unpleasant feedback. To re-start
the product, remove the batteries and then put them
back in.
Caution!
MAINTENANCE

not use detergents or solvents. Should the unit get

Dry the battery compartment with a dry cloth. Leave
it open for approximately 12 hours so that it can dry
completely. Do not try to use the unit until it is com-
pletely dry.
