TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
In WINDOWS™ 95/98/ME/2000 the joystick control
panel tells me that the WASP JOYSTICK is not connec-
ted properly.
1. Make sure that the WASP JOYSTICK is connected
properly to the gameport of the sound card or game
card.
2. Make sure that no other drivers are installed. Remove
any other drivers listed under GAME CONTROLLERS
on the general screen.
3. Make sure that your gameport is functioning properly.
Go to CONTROL PANEL, then choose SYSTEM. Click
on the DEVICE MANAGER tab, and choose SOUND,
VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS. If there is a
yellow or red icon next to GAMEPORT JOYSTICK, this
device is not functioning properly. Contact your system
manufacturer for information to fix this problem.
SYMPTOM
The WASP JOYSTICK does not function properly.
Make sure that you chose the driver corresponding to the
selected mode. You choose the different modes with the
Mode Selector located underneath the WASP JOY-
STICK.
This WASP JOYSTICK is an electronic unit, and should be
treated with care when handling. We recommend that you do
not store the unit in direct sunlight or at extreme temperatu-
res, or spill any liquids on the unit. Finally do not open the
case of the controller.
