Thank you for choosing a Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and
information completely. Keep these operating instructions in a
safe place for future reference.
1. Extent of Delivery

2. Safety Instructions
• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and
use it in dry rooms only.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters
or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major
shocks.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.
Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach
of children!
• Ensure that the total power consumption of all connected
terminal devices does not exceed 500mA.
• Before connecting a terminal device, check whether the
power output of your tablet PC can supply sufficient power
for the device.
• For more information, see the operating instructions for
your tablet PC and the terminal device. If necessary, ask the
relevant manufacturer's support centre for the information
you need.
• Do not connect USB hubs to the adapter.
3. System Requirements
The USB hub supports the following operating systems:
• USB type A plug:
Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP & Mac OS 10.x
• Micro USB type B connector:
Android 4.0 or higher
4. Getting started
• Connect the product to a free USB port on your computer/
notebook/smartphone/tablet PC.
• Plug your USB devices into the hub one after the other and
wait until the installation is completed. Now you can use
the USB devices.

5. Exclusion of Warranty
Hama GmbH & Co. KG assumes no liability and provides no
warranty for damage resulting from improper installation/
mounting, improper use of the product or from failure to
observe the operating instructions and/or safety notes.

7. Class A information technology equipment
Warning! This device is categorized as class A equipment. This
equipment can cause radio interference in living spaces. If this
is the case, you can request the operator to undertake
appropriate measures to prevent such interference.
8. Recycling Information
Consumers are obliged by law to return electrical and
electronic devices to the collection points set up for this
purpose, or to the place the devices were purchased, at
the end of their service lives. Contact your local waste
management organisations for details.
Warning – Data Loss
• Make sure that no more data is transferred before
removing a USB memory from the hub.
• Always remove the removable storage medium via the
eject function of your operating system before taking
the storage medium out of the hub or before separating
the hub (with plugged in storage medium) from your
terminal device
• If you do not do this, data may be lost.
Note
• If your device is host/OTG-capable, but does not yet
have the required software version and does not
recognise the hub, you may have to download and
install an additional plug-in app from a portal offering
Android apps.

supply for the connected devices (no charging function)
