Names and Function on Each Part
1. INPUT: 1/4" phone jack input.
2. Channel select switch: This allows selection of the CLEAN/
CRUNCH and LEAD channel. Turning down this switch activates
the CLEAN/CRUNCH channel and illuminates green LED. Turning
up this switch, activates the LEAD channel and illuminates red
LED.
CLEAN/CRUNCH channel
3. BASS: Controls low frequency range.
4. MIDDLE: Controls middle frequency range.
5. TREBLE: Controls high frequency range.
6. VOLUME: Controls output level of the CLEAN/CRUNCH channel.
Turning the knob clockwise leads the sound to crunch.
LEAD channel
7. GAIN: Controls the distortion depth. Turning the knob clockwise
increases both distortion and sustain.
8. BASS: Controls low frequency range.
9. MIDDLE: Controls middle frequency range.
10. TREBLE: Controls high frequency range.
11. VOLUME: Controls output level of the LEAD channel.
12. FAT switch: Tuning up the switch gains more low frequency range.
13. REVERB: Controls reverb level.
14. MASTER: Controls overall output level. Turning the knob clock-
wise raises the input level of power amp stage. That makes power
tube overdrive and gives rich tone.
15. POWER indication light: Illuminating the light indicates power is
being supplied to this amp.
16. AC INPUT: Connect the included AC power cable to this connec-
tor. Only use this amp with the voltage indicated on the panel.

17. POWER switch: This switch turns the AC power on/off the amplifi-
er. Use it in conjunction with STANDBY switch to properly power
the amplifier on. When this is turned ON, the POWER indication
light on the front will be illuminated.
18. STANDBY Switch: This switch engages the high voltage DC to the
tubes. Always power the amplifier on using the POWER Switch
with this switch in the STANDBY (down) position. Wait for at least
30 seconds after turning POWER on and then engage the STAND-
BY Switch into the ON (upright) position. Powering up in this fash-
ion will help to preserve tube life. It is also best to put the amp into
the STANDBY position when taking breaks.
19. Speaker impedance select switch: Select the total impedance val-
ue of speaker cabinets connected to SPEAKER OUTPUT jacks.
Refer to "Connection to Your Speaker Cabinets".
20. SPEAKER OUTPUT Jacks: Connect to speaker cabinet with
speaker cable.
21. FOOTSWITCH 2: Connect to the footswitch IFS1L. You can con-
trol the FAT switch via footswitch. When the footswitch is connect-
ed, the FAT switch on the front panel is disabled.
22. FOOTSWITCH 1: Connect to the footswitch IFS2L. You can con-
trol the channel select and REVERB on/off via footswitch. When
the footswitch is connected, the channel select switch on the front
panel is disabled.
23. RETURN Jack: This is an input for an effects device. Connect the
output of your effects device to this input. This jack connects to the
input of REVERB and MASTER control section.
24. SEND Jack: This is an output for an effects device. Connect it to
the input of your effects device. The output of each channel and
FAT section connects to this jack.
