3 Applications
This pocket transmitter operates in the UHF range
506 – 542 MHz It is designed for operation with
the following receivers from JTS:
– RU-8011D / 5 (1-channel receiver)
– RU-8011DB / 5 (1-channel receiver)
– RU-8012DB / 5 (2-channel receiver)
The pocket transmitter is supplied with the lava-
lier microphone CM-501 Instead of the lavalier
microphone, a different microphone from the JTS
product range with a 4-pole mini XLR connection
(e g a headband microphone) may be used
The settings for the transmitter can be made
on the receiver and then, by means of the func-
tion
, transferred to the transmitter via
ultrasound However, it is also possible to directly
configure the transmitter via a separate menu

4 Power Supply
For power supply, two 1 5 V batteries of size AA
are required
•
Only insert two batteries of the same type and
always replace both of them
•
If the transmitter is not in use for a longer pe-
riod of time, always remove the batteries to
prevent damage due to battery leakage
1) To open the battery compartment, slightly
press the battery compartment cover (7) at
the marking and pull it downwards
2) Insert the batteries with the positive and neg-
ative poles as indicated in the battery com-
partment
3) Replace the cover and make sure it engages
Instead of non-rechargeable batteries, two re-
chargeable NiMH batteries of size AA can be
inserted To recharge the batteries, the charg-
ing station 850CH-2 with two charging slots is
ideally suited: Simply insert the pocket trans-
mitter with the rechargeable batteries into a
charging slot The batteries are charged via the
contacts (8) at the lower end of the transmitter
The second charging slot can be used to charge
a second pocket transmitter RU-850LTB / 5 or a
wireless hand-held microphone RU-850LTH / 5 at
the same time
Never put batteries in the household
waste Always dispose of the batteries
in accordance with local regulations
5 Connecting the Microphone,
Attaching the Transmitter to your
Clothes
Connect the microphone provided to the micro-
phone input (2) (To disconnect and remove the
microphone, press the black button to unlock the
mini XLR connector )
When all settings on the transmitter have
been made, use the fastener to attach the mi-
crophone to your clothes (e g lapel, shirt / blouse
placket or tie) and the clip (6) on the rear to attach
the pocket transmitter to your belt or waistband,
