Package Contents

• USB extension cable
Connections
1. Connect the included portable antenna to the
TV Stick, using the included converter, if needed.
NOTE: If using the TV Stick indoors, connecting
to an outdoor (rooftop) antenna is recommended.
(See Operating Suggestions below.)
2. Connect the included USB extension cable to the TV Stick if needed.
Driver Installation
1. With the computer on, insert the included Software/Driver CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. Plug the TV Stick into a USB port on your computer.
3. The message "USB ATSC Hybrid" indicates that your operating system recognizes the new
hardware. Click "Cancel" to continue.
4. Run "Software Install" to display the initial driver installation screen. Click "Install" to continue.
5. Click "Continue Anyway" when prompted as the installation progresses.
6. When prompted that driver installation is complete, click "Finish. "
Software Installation
1. Select "Arcsoft TotalMedia" on the included CD and choose a setup language when prompted.
Click "Next. "
2. When prompted, click "Yes" to proceed with the software installation.
3. When prompted to change the destination folder, it's recommended that you click "Next" to
place the application in the recommended (default) folder and continue; otherwise, you can click
"Browse" to specify your preferred location, then click "Next. "
4. Once the files have been copied to your hard drive, click "Finish" to complete the TotalMedia
installation.
5. Click "Next" to proceed with the "IR Receive" installation.
6. When prompted, click "Install. "
7. When the Complete screen displays, click "Finish" to complete the installation.
8. When prompted, restart your computer. ATSC application icons should display on your desktop.
9. To confirm installation, go to Control Panel / System / System Properties / Device Manager. The
device should be listed among the files.
Operating Suggestions
• Because terrestrial digital wireless broadcast signals can be affected by topography, large objects
(such as buildings) and weather, a rooftop antenna is recommended when using this product
indoors.
• Though this product is portable,
it isn't well-suited for use on high-
speed platforms such as trains or
planes.
• When using the recording or
time-shifting functions, be sure
you have enough hard drive
space to save large amounts of
data.
• When using the remote control,
be sure the batteries are installed;
that you're no more than 5m from
the TV Stick; and nothing is
blocking the receiver.
