To speak to another walkie-talkie watch user:
You have two ways of talking to another user.
- If you have opened the Stormtrooper helmet cover, press the
Talk / Call key
(TX) lights up on the display. Speak clearly into the microphone,
in a normal voice. Do not shout. When you have finished talking,
release the Talk / Call key
- If you have closed the Stormtrooper helmet cover, press the
centre of the helmet and hold it (you will normally feel a light
resistance and/or a light "click"). Speak clearly into the microphone,
in a normal voice. Do not shout. When you have finished talking,
remove your hand and stop pressing the helmet.
To listen to another walkie-talkie user:
Make sure you are not pressing the Talk/Call button. Receiving symbol (RX) is shown
onthe display when the other person is speaking. Don't try to transmit until they have
finished.
VOX (voice operated transmission) mode
In VOX mode your walkie-talkie watch will transmit whenever it detects your voice (or
other noise) without the Talk/Call button having to be pressed.
1. Press the Power/Menu button twice.
The VOX icon flashes and OF is displayed on the LCD screen.
2. Press the
