TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY
- Place the refrigerator in the coolest
part of the room, away from heat-
producing appliances and out of
direct sunlight.
- Wait for hot food and drinks to cool
down before putting them in the
fridge.
- Do not overload the refrigerator as
this causes the compressor to run
longer.
- Wrap the food well and clean and
dry the containers before putting
them in the fridge to avoid frost.
- Do not line any compartment of
the refrigerator with aluminum
foil, greaseproof paper, or paper
napkins. Any lining interferes with
circulation, reducing efficiency.
- Store food in such a way that air
can flow around it.
- Do not leave the refrigerator door
open for longer than necessary.
- Make sure food does not touch the
back of the compartments.
- Do not set the thermostat to
extremely low temperature.
GOING ON VACATION?
- Short holidays: Leave the
refrigerator in operation during
holidays of less than a month.
- Long holidays: If you are not going
to use the refrigerator for long
periods of time, remove all the
food and disconnect the plug.
Thoroughly clean and dry the
interior. To avoid odors and mold
growth, leave the door slightly
open.
MOVE THE FRIDGE
- Unplug the refrigerator and remove
all the food inside.
- Close and tape the doors and
power cord to keep them from
moving during the move.
- ATTENTION: Never lift the
refrigerator by the door.
- Protect the outside of the product
with a soft padded blanket or item
and make sure the refrigerator
remains secure and upright while
being transported.
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the
mains and allow it to cool before
undertaking any cleaning task.
- Do not use solvents, or products
with an acid or base pH such as
bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in
water or any other liquid or place it
under running water.
- Never clean with a steam cleaner.
- The appliance must be completely
dry before being put into operation
again.
- Essential oils and organic solvents
can attack plastic parts (such as
lemon or orange juice). Do not
allow these substances to come
into contact with any part of the
appliance.

INTERNAL CLEANING

- Do not pour water on the
appliance.
