3. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
• Before plugging the fan heater in, ensure
the domestic voltage is the same as that
indicated on the reference plate on the
underside of the appliance.
• Ensure the electrical socket has a
capacity of 10-16 amperes.
• This appliance complies with EEC
directive 89/336 regarding
electromagnetic compatibility.
4. FUNCTIONING AND USE
Summer use (fan only): turn the function
selector dial to
Low power heating: turn the dial to 1. The
pilot light will come on.
Full power heating: turn the dial to 2. The
pilot light will come on.
Adjusting the thermostat: when the room
has reached the desired temperature, slowly
turn the function selector dial clockwise until
the pilot light goes off or until you hear a
click. The temperature set in this way is
automatically regulated and maintained by
the thermostat.

Switching the heater off
To switch off the appliance, turn the function
selector dial back to "O".
Before carrying out any maintenance or
cleaning of the appliance, make sure it is
unplugged from the mains.
Regularly vacuum the air inlet and outlet
grilles to clean them.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
• This appliance is not designed for use in
damp or wet areas. Do not install it in
damp places or near showers, baths,
sinks, swimming pools, etc.
• To avoid overheating, do not use the
appliance to dry clothes, or obstruct its air
inlet and outlet grilles.
• Make sure no furniture or any other
objects are standing at less than 50 cm
from the front of the appliance.
• The user must not replace the electrical
cable of this appliance. If the cable needs
replacing it must only be done by a
technical assistance service authorised
by the manufacturer.
• Do not place the appliance directly
underneath a wall electrical socket.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms of
under 4m
• Never direct the air flow towards furniture,
curtains, aerosols or flammable materials.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or
plug are damaged.
• Any repairs to this appliance must be
made by authorised Technical Assistance
Services.
• Important: Never cover the appliance
while it is switched on. This could cause
fire.
• The heating elements will be turned off by
a safety device if accidental overheating
