HYDRATION PACK
CLEANING THE RESERVOIR
The best way to care for the hydration pack's reservoir
is to clean it with soap and water and dry it thoroughly
after every use, especially if filled with anything other
than water. If reservoir has gotten especially moldy:
1.
Use hot water and two tablespoons of baking soda
or bleach. Mix solution inside reservoir and hold it
up above your head while pinching the bite valve,
allowing the bleached water to run through the tube.
2. Let the reservoir and cleaning solution sit for
approximately 30 minutes.
3. Wash out reservoir with hot water and mild soap.
Be sure to completely rinse away any bleach or
cleaning solution before using it again. Use brushes
to scrub reservoir and tube. Brushes are the best way
to ensure all areas of the reservoir are cleaned.
4. Once the reservoir is clean, be sure to air dry it so
that no moisture is trapped inside, as this can cause
mold to grow.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE BACKPACK
If the pack portion gets dusty, wipe it down with a damp
cloth. If it becomes filthy and needs a deeper cleaning:
1.
2. Rinse it thoroughly with cool water.
3. Hang it up to air dry.
Pour le français, consulter la page 3.
Soak it in warm water with some mild soap.
NOTE: Do not skip this step. If skipped, the
wearer may create suds the next time they
sweat with the pack on.
NOTE: Do not put hydration pack in washing
machine. Machine-washing pack can twist
or tear the straps and fixtures and wear away
the fabric's waterproof coating. This voids
manufacturer's warranty.
