Using your Remote Control:

The universal remote control that comes with your Geneva Sound System Model XXL
can be programmed to operate the basic functions of many other brands of audio and
video components, such as TVs, satellite receivers, set top boxes, DVD players, Blueray
players and others. To use the remote control effectively, always aim it directly at the
Geneva Sound System Model XXL or to the device it has been programmed to control
(e.g. the TV, DVD player etc).
Programming your Remote Control:
Please follow these steps to program your remote control:
1. Press and hold the component button (TV, SAT or DVD) on the remote control
for a few seconds. The LED will go out.
2. Release component button (TV, SAT or DVD). The LED goes on again.
3. Type in remote control code. The code depends on brand and type of the component
to be controlled. The accessory box that comes with the Geneva Sound System
Model XXL contains a list of remote codes.
4. As soon as the code is accepted, the LED will flash two times.
Controlling your own components using the Geneva remote control:
When pressing the SAT, TV or DVD button on the remote control, the remote control
commands are sent to the 3rd party components that are programmed and not to the
XXL unit. You need to select iPod, CD or FM in order to control the XXL again.
