SAFETY IN THE WORKING AREA
Do not use the machine at extreme temperatures and keep it away from excessive moisture.
Do not use this machine in explosive atmospheres in the presence of flammable liquids, gases and dust.
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered, dark areas can cause accidents.
Keep children, people or animals away while operating this machine.
When the work is done simultaneously by two or more people, always check the location of the others and keep
a sufficient distance to ensure safety.
Remember that the machine operator is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other people or things.
The manufacturer is in no way liable for damage caused by improper or incorrect use of this machine.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK, GAS AND FIRE SAFETY
Never touch the electrical parts. Electric shocks can be fatal.
Isolate from the work circuit and the ground terminal using dry insulation. Make sure the insulation is sufficient
to protect it completely from all physical contact with the terminals.
Never close the power supply before installation and adjustment. Make sure the equipment is properly installed
and securely connected to the ground terminal.
The working circuits and electrode will increase the temperature when the welder is switched on. Avoid contact
with these parts with wet or unprotected hands.
In the semi-automatic or automatic wire welding machine, the electrode, wire reel, welding head, and welding
nozzle or torch will also be heated.
Always make sure the working cable has a good electrical connection to the metal you are welding. The
connection should be as close as possible to the area where it is being welded.
Keep the electrode holder, work clamp, welding cable and welding equipment in good condition.
Never immerse the electrode in water to cool it.
Never touch simultaneously the hot parts of the electrode holders connected to two welding machines because
the voltage between the two can be the total no-load voltage of both machines.
When working at height, use a seat belt to protect yourself from a fall in the event of an electric shock.
Fumes and gases can be dangerous. Avoid breathing these fumes and gases. During welding, keep away from
fumes and gases. Use a ventilation and/or exhaust system near the arc to keep fumes and gases away from the
breathing zone.
Arc rays can cause burns. Wear a mask with a suitable filter and cover to protect your eyes from sparks and arc
rays when welding or when open arc welding is observed.
Welding sparks can cause fires and explosions. Avoid the risk of fire and keep a fire extinguisher handy.
When not soldering, make sure that no part of the electrode circuitry touches the workpiece or ground terminal.
Accidental contact can cause overheating and fire.
Do not heat, cut or weld tanks, drums or containers until you have taken steps to ensure that such procedures
will not cause flammable or toxic vapors. These substances can cause an explosion. Ventilate castings before
heating, cutting or welding.
Connect the cable as close as possible to the welding area.
SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Do not modify product controls.
Check regularly for broken parts or other conditions that may affect the correct operation of the machine.
Only replace worn or damaged parts immediately with original spare parts.
Carry out regular maintenance on the machine. Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work not described in
this instruction manual. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in this manual be performed
by an Official Service Facility.
Always clean the machine of dust and dirt after finishing work.
