use and warnings on the packaging as well as the
following instructions carefully before using the
product. Keep the instructions in a safe place for

General Information:
• Always play this game together with your pet.
• You can playfully feed your pet e.g. with fruit or
sunflower seeds. This gets your pet moving and
turns snacking into an exciting experience.
• Select a location to play where your pet feels
comfortable and will not be disturbed by the
surroundings. Try to avoid staring at your pet, as
this can make your pet feel restricted.
• To start with, use food which is especially
attractive for your pet in order to motivate it
sufficiently.
• Help your pet at the beginning to master the task
in order to keep it motivated. It is important that
your pet is successful quickly – especially early
on – so that it connects the game with a positive
experience.
• Put the toy away after playing.
Important:
Small animals react very differently to new toys.
Many pets are highly motivated to play with the
Snack Board right from the start. Others need
a little time to get used to the game. They will
ignore the toy at first, only to become very enthu-
siastic about playing with it later. There are also
pets that enjoy concentrating on the game for a
long time, while others prefer to play in smaller
doses, but more frequently. Whichever way your
pet prefers, allow your pet time to play the game
in the way it likes it.

The game can begin
1. Take the lids at the top of the plastic board off
and fill in some treats while your pet can see
you doing it.
Close the openings in the board of the Snack
Board with the lids again. With a little bit of
practice, your pet can learn to lift the lids with
its mouth or remove it with its paws to get to
the food hidden below.
2. Help your pet at first by e.g. by placing the
food only halfway under the lids to keep your
pet motivated. It is important that your pet
is successful quickly – especially early on – so
that it connects the game with a positive ex-
perience. Once your pet has realized that this
is a food game, it will be quick to understand
the task.
3. Now take a longer break from playing to ena-
ble your pet to process the experience.
Help your pet again at the beginning of the
next round if it is unsuccessful after a few
tries. Gradually reduce the amount of help
given.
Please remember:
Animals have short attention spans. They
require frequent success in order to occupy
themselves with something over longer
periods of time. To start with, keep the playing
sessions with the Snack Board short, but
frequent. Do not let your pet chew on the
product. Playing this game will give your pet
great experiences of success and together you
will have a lot of fun.
Do not leave your pet unsupervised while
playing! This toy is not suitable for children!
