SWICH ON
Take off the cap (c). Push start button (a). If the green light fliks,
change the battery.
SWICH OFF
To maximize battery lasting, the device switch of one minute after
the end of using. We advise to switch off manually by pushing
button (a) during ± 3 seconds minimum. Do not forget to put the cap
back on the device after use.

CALIBRATION CHECK

Switch-on meter. Press the two needle electrodes against the two
exposed wires of the device.
The reading should be 17 - 19. If it is not, please return the
instrument to your supplier.
MOISTURE MEASURING (COLOR SCALE)
1- IN MINERAL MATERIALS
Stick the 2 points of the device into the material to control.
As the measure is local, it is recommended to repeat the
measuring in several places.
Disregard the figures, only use the three-colored scale (green,
yellow, red) on the right of the luminous scale.
Codes are the following :
• GREEN Very dry : Laying of any floor (or wall) covering is
possible.
• YELLOW Slightly damp : Laying is risky. It is recommended to
observe a time for drying and then, measure again.
• RED Too damp to enable any kind of covering to be fixed.
WARNING :
This device is not suitable to measure "anhydrite" cement.
Use in this case the CCM 2 tester REF. 93265.
