Before connecting your refrigerator, make sure that the
voltage from the outlet where it will be connected is the same
as indicated on the label located next to the plug (in the power
cord), or in the refrigerator nameplate. Turn your refrigerator
on to an exclusive outlet, do not use extension cords or T-type
connectors. This type of connection can cause overload on
the power grid, affecting the operation of your refrigerator and
resulting in accidents. Make sure that the refrigerator is not
resting on the power cord.
For your safety, ask an electrician you trust
to check the power grid condition on the
installation place and, for more information
please contact our Customer Service. The
wires which your refrigerator will be connected
should be copper and have a minimum
section of 2.5 mm².

If the aplliance's power voltage is outside
the limits given in variation allowable
voltage table, ask the power dealership
adequacy of voltage levels and install
a voltage regulator (stabilizer) with
power not less than 1500 VA. Damage
to the aplliance may occur if there is, at
the installation place, voltage range out
the specified limits (see table below)
or frequent blackouts. If this happens,
remove the plug from the outlet for 5
minutes and then reconnect it (check
the chapter Fault and Solutions of this
manual).

Ground wire
For your safety, the ground wire must be
installed to an efficient ground and can not be
connected directly to the mains or water, gas
pipes, electricity, telephone, lightning rods,
etc., avoiding possible electrical discharges.
Ask for an electrician you trust to install the
ground wire properly in your residence.
Your aplliance is equipped with 3-pin plug. The
grounding pin power cord can not be cut.
