7. Start-up and operation
IMPORTANT: This chapter explains
the basic actions necessary in order to
start up and use the portable spotlight.
7.1. Insert the halogen lamp
WARNING: Risk to life and limb
from electric shock
Disconnect the earthed plug from the
mains socket before any cleaning or
servicing work.
1 Open the safety cover
- Using a suitable screwdriver, loosen
the two cross-head screws.

- Open the safety cover to the front.
2 Insert the halogen lamp
- See section 9.3
3 Close the safety cover
- Close the safety cover and tighten
the screws making sure the seal sits
correctly.
7.2. Using the portable spotlight
WARNING: Fire hazard
Do not use the portable spotlight in close
proximity to flammable objects. Maintain a
safety clearance of at least 1 m.
The angle of illumination of the spotlight
housing (see Fig. 1, item 2) can be
adjusted vertically. To change the angle
of illumination, loosen and adjust the
spotlight housing (see Fig. 1, item 2) with
the adjusting screws (see Fig. 1, item 6).
