When working with FHB II capsules, we recommend using the machine setting tool RASDS
(item no. 62420).
Pre-positioneA Installation with capsule, FHB II - A S anchor rods
A I
1. Drill the hole. It is not necessary to clean the hole.
2. Inserting the FHB II capsule. See table 3 for FHB II anchor rod and the corresponding FHB II capsule.
3. Installing anchor rods. Use a suitable hammer drilling machine (see table 3) and the included positioning
screw to rotate or hammer the anchor roA Into place. Use our RA-SDS setting tool for this purpose. If the
setting depth is aligned with the concrete surface: STOP !
Once the setting depth has been reached, mortar must exit the drill hole until it makes contact with the
concrete surface. Visible inspection ! – If this is not the case, the FHB II anchor rod must be immediately
removed and reinstalled after a second FHB II capsule has been installed.
4. Hardening times. Observe the hardening times of the capsule mortar (table 2). Attaching the installation
wedges. Check that the installation is secure by applying the torque tinst specifieA In table 3.
