HEADPHONES JACK
For private listening, connect a 32 ohm stereo headphones set (3.5mm plug) into the
headphone jack. Adjust volume controls to your level preference. Note the speakers are
disconnected automatically.

ARINGING IN THE EARS. REDUCE VOLUME OR DISCONTINUE USE.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Press the VOLUME -/+ until the desired volume is reached, and the volume level is
displayed on the LCD.
RADIO OPERATION
. Press the STANDBY button once to turn the unit on. The Power Indicator will light up.
2. Press the FUNCTION button to select "AM, FM" mode.
3. Press the TUNING + or TUNING – button momentarily (less than 0.5 sec.) to step up
or down the receiving frequency in order to select the desired station.
4. For auto tuning, keep pressing the TUNING + or TUNING – button (more than 0.5 sec.)
until the displayed frequency starts to change, then release the button. Tuning will stop
automatically when a station is received.
5. To turn the unit off after use, simply press the STANDBY button once again and the
Power Indicator will turn off.
FM RECEPTION
Extend the FM ROD ANTENNA to its full length and adjust angle and direction for best
reception. "ST" indicator will appear on the display only if an actual stereo broadcast
station is being received.
Under unstable or noisy conditions, press the MODE button to select MONO mode. After
FM MONO mode is select, "ST" indicator will disappear from the display.
AM RECEPTION
Rotate the unit horizontally to change direction or relocate the unit for best reception as
the built-in ferrite bar antenna is directional.
PRESET STATIONS
1. Press the FUNCTION button to select "AM, FM" mode.
2. When a desired station is tuned, press the MEMORY button and then select the location
you want to store station by pressing the PRESET + button.
3. Press the MEMORY button again to confirm the preset station.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to enter remaining preset stations.
Note : The preset memory can store a maximum of 20 FM stations and 12 AM stations.
TUNING TO A PRESET STATION
To recall any preset stations within the selected band, simply press the PRESET + button
until the preset number selection appears on the display.
