KNOB REMOVAL
The lock-out knob is attached
to the headset compressor via
a snap-fit system.
To remove it, press sideways
and pull it out by pulling
upwards.

NB: the lock-out knob cannot
be removed by turning it!
COMPRESSOR
REMOVAL
To remove the headset
compressor, first loosen
the stem fixing screws.
Then unscrew the headset
compressor (by turning
counter-clockwise) using
an 8 mm Allen key.

COMPRESSOR INSERTION
NB: before screwing in the headset compres-
sor, grease the thread using an anti-seize
compound and check that the lock-out shaft is
positioned correctly.
Position the headset compressor in line with
the thread on the steerer, making sure that the
lock-out shaft is in line with the hole on the
headset compressor.
Then screw in the headset compressor (turn-
ing clockwise) with an 8 mm Allen key and
Press
with a torque of 15 Nm or until it is fully tight
(MAX 20 Nm).
Finally, tighten the stem screws.
KNOB INSERTION
Position the knob in line with the compressor,
making sure the inner sides of the knob is
aligned with the lock-out shaft, and then press
down on the knob. When you hear a 'click', the
knob will be correctly installed.
Check the operation by locking and unlocking
the suspension.
NB: if the knob is not correctly aligned with the
lock-out shaft, there is a risk of damage during
insertion.
