Three-phase adapter
1 Applications
The three-phase adapters A3-16, A3-32 and A3-63
serve for non-problem connection of testers to 5-pin
CEE socket outlets. The only difference in the three
versions is the size of the plug. The plug matches
each one of the 5-pin CEE socket outlets with the
nominal currents 16 A, 32 A and 63 A.
Measuring category: CAT IV 600 V
2 Safety precautions and safety notes
Absolutely observe the following safety notes. Ne-
glecting of these notes automatically voids liability and
warranty.
• The three-phase adapter must only be used for
connection to measuring and test instruments for
the purpose of testing the protecting devices in
electrical systems.
Note: Distortions in measuring results may occur
during insulation resistance measurements owing
to the integrated electronic system for phase se-
quence recognition.
• Electrical consumers or other equipment must not be
connected to the line via the three-phase adapter.
• The maximum permissible nominal voltage is
230 / 400 V.
• Avoid improper mechanical stress of the adapter, e.g.
by using the plugged-in adapter as step-ladder.
• The adapter must not be opened.
