Device with gear-clutch wheel spindle ref. 2243-D
The device with gear-clutch wheel spindle is made for gripping the case back of watches with adjustable gripping torque
0 to 15 Nm (Newton-meter).

A) Operation
In
turning
the
wheel
(screwing), you disconnect when you reach
the selected gripping couple.
Anticlockwise (unscrewing), it is not possible
to disconnect the wheel.
B) Setting
With the help of graduation handle no. 1, you
can adjust the tightening strength from 0 to
15 Nm. You must apply a dynamometer at the
end of the spindle for check the desired value.
The button no. 2 is for bolting the adjustable
gripping torque.
For putting down the spindle, it is enough to
pull against the exterior of the button no. 5.
The spindle is equipped with two return-
springs. The first one has a length of 130 mm
and is to be used together with the Bergeon
accessories of the case opener 5700 (see
enclosed leaflets), the second one has a
length of 70 mm and is to be used with
specifics accessories of "Rawyler" type (see
enclosed leaflets).
With help of the required adaptor no. 6, you
can use the accessories 5700 (see above).
For remove the adaptor or fix the "Rawyler"
accessories, use the tightening screw-handle
no. 3.
Maintenance
In principle, there is no particular maintenance for the Bergeon gear-clutch wheel spindle, but
-
to regularly apply grease on the spindle in order to avoid oxidations.
In case of working problems, we suggest you to send back the spindle in order to carry out a verification and a
-
complete restoration.
Comment
There is a protection system which limits the torque setting when it is superior to 15Nm (Newton-meter).
We accept no liability if some modifications are made with a view to increase the maxi torque.
