SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In our experience, a few safety precautions are recommended in order to have
fun with a fun pro scooter for as long and healthy a time as possible:
•
This scooter is approved for a maximum total load of 100 KG.
•
Wear personal protective equipment! (At least hand / wrist protection,
knee protection, head protection and elbow protection)
Please note:
•
That the user or legal guardian has to check the restriction of the area of
use by the road traffic regulations.
•
The recommendation or description of suitable surfaces for use (smooth,
clean, dry and as free as possible from other road users).
•
That at least the following protective equipment shall be used: Hand/wrist
protection, knee protection, head protection and elbow protection.
•
That the steering is correctly adjusted and that all connecting parts are
tightened and not defective.
•
The description of the correct driving and braking technique.
•
How to operate the Kick-Scooter in such a way as to avoid falling or
getting caught.
•
That shoes should always be worn.
•
That the scooter is not to be driven in the dark.
•
That the braking device becomes hot during continuous use and cannot be
touched after braking.
CORRECT DRIVING AND BRAKING TECHNIQUE
•
Drive only so fast that you can always brake safely.
•
Only use the scooter for driving on level surfaces.
•
Keep both hands on the handlebars in the designated places.
•
Place the foot on the board and use the other foot to give momentum.
•
Use the foot with which you give momentum to use the brake.
•
To brake, press the brake down onto the rear wheel with the flywheel. The
harder you press, the more you brake.
