• Press the MAX/MIN button again to leave the maximum
and minimum mode
6.4 Changing of the temperature unit
• The default setting is °C.
• To change the temperature unit, turn off the device first by
pressing and holding the ON / OFF button.
• Press and hold the MAX/MIN button.
• Press and hold the ON/OFF button at the same time.
• The device switches on and the temperature unit appears
in °F.
• To change the temperature unit again, turn off the device
first.
6.5 Backlight
• Press the ON/OFF button to activate or deactivate the
backlight.
• If the ON/OFF button is not pressed, the backlight switch-
es off automatically after approximately 30 seconds.
7. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use sol-
vents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long
period of time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.
7.1 Battery replacement
• Change the battery when the battery symbol
appears on the display.
• Confirm the device is power off before changing battery.
• Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery
9 V.

the supplier from whom you purchased it.
