Operation
You can operate the inverter with the engine running or switched off. However,
do not start the engine while the inverter is switched on, since the power sup-
ply to the 12 Volt socket is interrupted during ignition.
The green status LED (see fig. 1.1, page 3) indicates that the inverter is working correctly.
If the battery voltage falls below 10.7 V or the device heats up too much during operation,
the green LED flashes. If the voltage is too low or the device overheats, the inverter
switches itself off.
If the inverter overheats, pull out the connection cable from the socket. After it cools down,
you can plug the inverter back in.
When operating the inverter at high load for lengthy periods, it is advisable to
start the engine in order to recharge the vehicle battery.

Cleaning and care
Caution!
Before cleaning the device, pull the cable out of the socket or the cigarette
lighter.
Caution!
Do not clean the device under flowing water or in soapy water.
Caution!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these
can damage the device.

Clean the exterior of the device with a damp cloth.

Disposal

Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever pos-
sible.
If you need to scrap the device, ask your local recycling centre or specialist deal-
er for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal reg-
ulations.
