Installation procedure
Pipe connection
Indoor
When the connection kit and the piping specifications are not the same, the pipe size can be adjusted via conversion
joints. (the transfer pipe size selection see accessories)
Pipe insulation
Please use the auxiliary insulation cylinder and tie wire for insulation works according to Fig.1 after the gas leakage
test.
Note 1:
The gas–liquid pipe of the connection kit should be wrapped with insulation materials (purchased locally).
When installing insulation materials for the flare nut connections, the following precautions should be taken:
(1) Please connect the joint according to the requirements to ensure no gas leakage at both ends.
(2) The retaining clamp should not be overly tight, to ensure the thickness of the insulation materials.
(3) Joints of insulation materials (purchased locally) for the upper flare nut connections should be wrapped upwards.
(4) Ensure that joints of the insulation materials are installed upwards. (See Fig.2.)

Charge the additional refrigerant of the liquid pipe between the outdoor units and connection kits and between the
connection kits and indoor units according to the Operation & Installation Manual of the outdoor unit.
