USING MEDIAIMPRESSION (CONTINUED)
Using the Unit as a WebCam
1. After installing (see page 14), click START menu c PROGRAMS c
ARCSOFT MEDIAIMPRESSION. You can also double click the
MediaImpression shortcut on your desktop; the application will open.
2. Connect the unit to the computer. Press the Record-Play Mode/Return
button to switch to PC Camera Mode; the green indicator will light.
3. Click WebCam.
4. Capture a still image by clicking "Capture". Capture a group of images
by clicking "Burst".
5. Capture a video clip by clicking "Record Video". Stop the recording by
clicking "Stop recording".
6. SETTINGS: Use the settings to adjust the capture settings, such as
video device, burst number, etc.
7. WEBCAM SETTINGS: Use to adjust your WebCam related
preferences, such as brightness, contrast, etc.
CONNECT: Click to connect to your WebCam. The connect icon only

appears when your WebCam is not connected.
9. DISCONNECT: Click to disconnect the unit. The disconnect icon only
appears when the WebCam is disconnected.
10. SNAPSHOT AND VIDEO: Select to set the desired resolution.
