This manual provides all the detailed information required
for the understanding and correct use of the equipment.
It must be read carefully at the time of purchase and
consulted if there are any doubts regarding its use or
when maintenance is required.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make any
modifications to the item and to this document without
prior notice.
WARNINGS
Please read this manual carefully before beginning
installation and carry out the procedures as specified by
the manufacturer.
This installation manual is only intended for professional
personnel.
Anything not expressly included in these instructions is
prohibited.
In particular, your attention should be drawn towards the
following warning:
• Disconnect power before making any electrical
connections.
• Ensure that installation is outside the operating zone
of the gate as required by current regulations.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE
The TACT RADIO device is a 10-channel transmitter
that allows different codes (Rolling Code) to be sent for
each channel only after entering the correct combination
using a keyboard (each channel is associated with a
combination). Devices leave the factory with different
codes.
Equipped with a double seal to protect against oxidation,
the TACT RADIO digital selector can be installed in
outdoor environments.

PRELIMINARY CHECKS
• Check that the item inside the packaging is intact
and in good condition.
• If possible, avoid installation of the item in the vicinity
of metal surfaces.
INSTALLATION
• Remove the keypad as shown in Figs. 3-4-5.
• Check that the printed arrow points downwards (Fig.
6) and secure the base using suitable Rawlplugs (Ø
max 5mm) and screws (not included).
• Proceed as shown in Figures 7-8.
Item operation
The keypad comes with 10 default codes, 1111*1,
2222*2, 3333*3...
The TACT RADIO is equipped with a keypad brightness
sensor, which is activated when the first key is pressed
in low light conditions. The backlit numbers switch off
after 10 seconds.
Example: assuming that the programmed combination
for channel 1 is "1234*1".
To send the channel 1 code, the user must do the
following:
• enter the sequence "1234" on the keypad;
• push the * key;
• push the 1 key;
To transmit a signal, input the 4-digit code, press * and
then the channel key to transmit.
Example: 1234 * 1 to send the first code. The RED LED
on the # key will start flashing to indicate a successful
outcome of the operation.
In the event of a negative outcome, the keypad will flash
all the LED keys once simultaneously. Wait until the
keypad LEDs go out before trying again.

PROGRAMMING
Changing the default code is highly recommended.
Combinations are sequences of digits between 0 and 9.
Each combination permits a maximum of 4 digits.
To change the code of the first channel, do the following:
• enter the 4 digits of the default code;
• push the # key;
• press the channel number.;
• enter the new 4-digit code;
• push # once more.
Example: 1234 # 1 9999 #
The LEDs on the keypad now switch off to confirm.
In the event of an error, all the LED keys will flash twice.
A maximum of 10 seconds may elapse between entering
one digit and another. After this time, the device exits
programming and signals the event with 5 rapid beeps.
MODIFYING A CODE WITHOUT KNOWING IT
To delete a code without knowing it: remove the keypad
(Figs. 3-4-5);
move the 2 DIP-SWITCH levers at the rear of the keypad
to the ON position (Fig. 12);
Push # to switch on the keypad and press the # key and
the corresponding channel number (0-9).
The LEDs on the keys will rapidly flash 5 times. Return
the 2 DIP-SWITCHES to the "OFF" position (Fig. 13) to
prevent the LED keys from continuing to flash.
The factory code will now be set in that specific channel,
e.g. 1111*1
To replace the batteries, proceed as shown in Figs.
10-11 (battery code 2354) using a small screwdriver.
DISPOSAL
A number of components of the item can be recycled
while others, such as electronic components
must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations
in force in the country of installation.
A number of components may contain pollutants that
must not be released into the environment.
