THE DEVICE OPERATION
8.1. Data-hold function:
Data are recorded automatically after each temperature measure-
ment and displayed in the bottom right corner of the LCD display.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to display the recent tempera-
ture measurements.
8.2. Battery replacement:
When the battery runs low, the display will show the battery sym-
bol +/- . Then it is necessary to replace the 9V battery. To do this,
please open the battery cover as shown in the illustration below,
replace the battery and close the battery cover.
SAFETY MEASURES DURING BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Always remember that the used battery should be replaced with a new one.
Please use only alkaline batteries to ensure use safety as well as correct operation of the thermometer.
Please remove the battery if the thermometer is not used for a long period of time.
When inserting a battery, always pay attention to the proper direction of the battery poles, "+" should be aligned
with "+", and "-" with "-".
Do not dispose of batteries by throwing them into a fire. A battery thrown into a fire may explode.
Do not use batteries other than those specified herein.
Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
THE DEVICE LONGEVITY
The non-contact infrared thermometer was designed for intensive and professional use. Its longevity is guar-
anteed for 40 000 measurements.
MAINTENANCE
The protective glass over the lens is the most important and fragile part of the thermometer, therefore it should
be handled with care.
Please clean it with a cotton bud moistened with water or 70%-alcohol and dry it thoroughly.
When not in use, the thermometer should be stored in the enclosed cover.
