General information

When using the Parabolic Heater, basic safety precautions should be observed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE PARABOLIC HEATER.
1. This Parabolic Heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the Parabolic Heater by a person responsible for their safety.
2. For indoor household use only.
3. Unplug the Parabolic Heater from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or Parabolic Heater
in water or any other liquid.
5. Do not operate the Parabolic Heater with a damaged cord or plug, or if the
Parabolic Heater malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Please
contact customer service.
6. Do not open or try to repair the heater yourself.
7. The heater is hot when in use. Do not let bare skin touch the hot surface.
8. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes,
and curtains at least 3 feet from the front of the heater and keep them away from
the sides and rear. DO NOT place towels or other objects on the heater.
9. ALWAYS turn the unit off completely before unplugging or moving it.
10. Keep hands and other foreign objects out of the Parabolic Heater when in use as
this may cause injury, an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
11. Never move the Parabolic Heater by pulling the cord. DO NOT let the electrical
cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces and do not
place the cord in a high traffic area where it can be tripped over.
12. Place the Parabolic Heater on a flat, level, stable, heat resistant surface when
using.
13. The Parabolic Heater has a tip-over switch. It is designed to automatically shut-off
when tipped forward or backward. When returned to the normal, upright
position, heat will automatically turn on again.
14. The Parabolic Heater is equipped with an overheat auto shut off for added safety.
Unplug the heater and allow it to cool before turning it back on.
15. Do not place the Parabolic Heater on or near a hot gas or electric burner or near a
heated oven.
16. Do not use the Parabolic Heater with a damaged outlet.
17. Make sure hands are dry when plugging in and unplugging the Parabolic Heater.
18. Do not use this Parabolic Heater for other than intended use.
