for the appliance, along with a quick start guide. Prior
to using the appliance for the first time, be
sure to read this entire document and keep it

This quick start guide does not replace the separate
operating instructions, which describes the appliance in
detail. The operating instructions also contain further
information on the operation, maintenance and repair
of the appliance.

Important safety instructions
WARNING:
•
USE IN UNINHABITED AREAS ONLY. No people,
animals, or plants allowed.
•
To avoid electric shock, do not expose to rain or snow.
Store, and use, indoors.
•
Ensure that all air flowing into the machine is clean.
Keep the air intake filter clean.
•
If the machine is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors or flooded with
water, return it to a service center.
•
The appliance is not to be used by children or persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction. Children
shall not play with the appliance.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified
persons to avoid a hazard.
•
Use only as described in this manual. Use only the
manufacturer's recommended attachments.
•
Do not pull by the cord, use the cord as a handle,
close a door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp
edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated
surfaces. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
•
Do not handle the plug, the cord, or the machine with
wet hands.
•
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
•
Unplug the machine from the power outlet before
cleaning or servicing.
•
If the cord or prongs become damaged have it
replaced by an authorized Nilfisk service technician
or partner.
•
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with
any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair,
smoke, and anything that may reduce air flow or dirty
the ozone producing electrodes.

Re-inhabitation
WARNING: Ozone has a half life of about 15
minutes in open areas and can be longer in closed or
furnished areas. The half-life will increase with lower
temperature and/or humidity. It is recommended that
you wait at least half an hour before entering the
space to ventilate. Breathing ozone for a very limited
time will not cause harm -- do not linger. The length
of time ozone has been running in a closed space will
determine how long to ventilate. Allow the space to
ventilate from 30 minutes to one hour before re-
inhabiting the space.
Purpose and intended use
This machine is designed for professional use. This
machine is only suitable for commercial use, for
example, in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops,
and offices other than normal residential housekeeping
purposes and is only for use by properly trained
personnel.
Any other use is considered to be improper use. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage
resulting from improper use. The risk for such use
is borne solely by the user. Proper use also includes
proper operation and servicing and repairs as specified
by the manufacturers. See Operating Instructions.
General
The use of this machine is subject to all applicable
local regulations. Observe all recognized regulations for
safety and proper use.
Transport and storage
