Using the beer and wine cooler
Equalizing the keg pressure
Once you have drawn off a certain quantity of beer from the keg a vacuum
forms, which stops beer flowing out of the tap. When this happens, you must
allow air to flow to the top of the keg so that the beer can flow again
➤ Lift up the insert (fig. 7 1, page 5) in the hood.

Observe the instructions on the keg.
➤ Open the valve or keg ventilation (fig. 7 2, page 5), so that air can flow
into the keg.
➤ Put the insert (fig. 7 1, page 5) back in.
✓ You can now draw nearly all the beer out of the keg.
Switching off the device
➤ To end the cooling process, take off the hood or disconnect it from the
mains.
✓ The device stops cooling.

Removing condensation
The beer and wine cooler has a condensation drain which directs condensa-
tion forming inside into the drip tray.
➤ Empty the drip tray (fig. 9 1, page 5) as required.
6.3
Taking the device out of operation
If you do not intend to use the cooler for a lengthy period, for example to put
it into storage, this is what to do:
➤ Unplug the connection cable.
➤ Clean the appliance as described in chapter "Care and cleaning" on
page 13.
➤ Store it in a suitable place.
