Care and maintenance
WARNING - Shock hazard
The control unit and heating pad must not be
immersed in water or other liquids. Only the clean
cover may be washed.
NOTE - Property damage
Unplug the heating pad from the mains supply
before cleaning it.
The cover of the heating pad should be washed
separately according to instructions on the care
tag.
Cleaning
1. Turn off the heating pad and allow it to cool down.
2. Pull the mains adaptor out of the socket.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the heating pad as
described in section "At a glance (included in your
package)".
4. Open the zip fastener on the side of the cover and
take out the heating pad.
5. Wipe clean the heating pad and control unit with a
slightly damp, soft cloth.
6. Use delicate wash at max. 30 °C to clean the mat
cover.
Observe the care symbols on the cover tag.
7. Allow the cover to air dry completely after washing.
Pull the cover into shape before it dries.
After drying:
8. Put the heating pad back into the cover. The heating
pad must be flat and free from kinks in the cover.
Maintenance
− The heating pad should be checked on a regular
basis to ensure that it is undamaged and intact. In
particular, check the power cord for bite marks.
Make sure you change the power cord if
you ever detect serious bite marks. Contact
your retailer.
Storage
The cleaned heating pad must be stored in a clean
and dry place, away from sources of heat such as
radiators.
Do not place heavy objects on the heating pad and
make sure it is not folded. This could damage the
heating wires inside the heating pad.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging according to type.
Put cardboard and carton in the waste paper
collection bin and foil in the recyclables
collection bin.
The product must be disposed of in accordance with
regulations applicable in your country.
Devices must not be disposed of in normal
household waste
At the end of its life, the product must be
disposed of in an appropriate way.
In this way, valuable materials contained in the device
will be recycled and the burden on the environment
avoided. Dispose of the old device at an electronic
scrap collection point or a recycling centre. For more
information, contact your local waste disposal firm or
your local administrative body.
Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply.
In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item
to your dealer with the proof of purchase (stating the
reason for the claim).
