Transport
Be cautious. Do not grasp any salient parts of the machine. The machine door cannot
be used as a support during transport. If the dryer can't be transported in an upright
position, it can be slanted at just under 30°.
Installation Position
1. For your convenience, it is recommended that the machine is positioned
close to your washing machine.
2. The tumble dryer must be installed in a clean place, where dirt does not build
up. Air must be able to circulate freely all around the appliance. Do not obstruct
the frontal air inlet or the air intake grills at the back of the machine.
3. To keep noise and vibration to a minimum when the dryer is in use, it should
be placed on a firm and level surface.
4. The feet must never be removed. Do not restrict the floor clearance through
deep pile carpets, strips of wood or similar. This might cause heat built-up which
will interfere with the appliance's operation.
Ensuring the dryer is level
Once in its permanent operating position, check that
the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a spirit level.
If it is not, adjust the feet with a tool.
Power Supply Connection
1. Make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as the electric
specification of the dryer.
2. Do not connect the dryer to a power extension, a universal plug or socket.
Warnings
! Let the dryer stand for 2 hours after transport (BDM2741 HP only).
Before first use, please use a piece of soft fabric to clean the inside of the drum.

d) After finishing this programme, please follow the "cleaning and routine maintenance"
instructions (refer to page 16) to clean the filter door.
! During drying, the compressor and the water pump generate some noise which is
entirely normal (BDM2741 HP only).

Advice
1. Before drying, thoroughly spin the laundry in the washing machine. High spin
speed can reduce the drying time and reduce energy consumption.
2. For a uniform drying result, sort the laundry according to fabric type and
drying programme.
3. Before drying, please close zips, hooks and eyelets, do up any buttons, tie
fabric belts, etc.
4. Do not over dry the clothes, because over dried clothes can easily get creases
or shrink.
5. Do not dry articles containing rubber or similar elastic materials such as
raincoats, bicycle covers, etc.
6. The door must only be opened after the drying programme is over. Do not
open the door before the programme finishes to avoid scalding yourself with
hot steam or on the drying machine itself.
7. Clean the lint filter and empty the condensed water container after each use
to avoid extended drying time and additional energy consumption.
