Tabs for steps 1 to 6
The sequence of the screwdriving program can be freely
defined in a maximum of six steps.
Example:
– Level 1 (threading phase): The threading phase is the
first phase in the screwing process. Here, it is important
that the screwdriver bit, screw head and screw threads all
interlock.
For this, a low speed should be set. When finding the
thread, it can also be helpful to use a fourth step direction
that is the opposite to the screw-in direction.
Loosening Scheme Tab
The loosening scheme determines the function during the loosening phase (not preferred rotational direction).

Description
This parameter activates the threading phase.
The tab for the activated threading phase is
highlighted in blue.
This parameter sets the speed required at out-
put.
This setting is dependent on the gear ratio in
the Identification Data tab.
This can only be set between 10 % and 100 %
of the maximum speed on the EXACT ION and
between 20 % and 100 % of the maximum
speed on the EXACT 12V (see type plate). A
speed setting is subject to tolerances and must
be checked again outside of the program.
Note: The reduction in speed can lower the
maximum torque.
This parameter sets the rotational direction re-
quired. This setting is dependent on the pre-
ferred rotational direction specified in the Gen-
eral tab.
screwed in, a speed higher than that used during the
threading phase can be set to screw in the remaining
threads. This saves process time.
to minimise settling conditions, the lowest speed possible
should be set for the final tightening.
the thread assembly to be loosened slightly in order to
make adjustments to the component, e.g. after the
defined tightening of the component. This method can
also be used to automatically cut blind hole threads.
