Inserting and removing a bit (fig. A & C)
For optimum convenience, this Elu Cordless Power
Tool is equipped with a bit compartment (5).
• Pull the sleeve (3) forward and insert the bit into
the sleeve as far as it will go. Release the sleeve
to secure the bit.
• To remove the bit, pull sleeve forward and pull
the bit out firmly.
Forward/Reverse slider (fig. B)
• To select forward or reverse rotation, use the
forward/reverse slider (2) as shown (see arrows
on tool).
Always wait until the motor has come to
a complete standstill before changing the
direction of rotation.
The first time the tool is run after changing the
direction of rotation, a click may be heard on start up.
Torque control wheel (fig. D)
Your tool is fitted with a torque control wheel (4) to
regulate torque and speed. The proper tightening
torque also depends on the size and type of screw
and the workpiece material. Use the table below as
a guideline.

• Align the desired number with the indicator (11).

Prior to operation:
• Insert the appropriate bit.
• Make sure your battery pack is (fully) charged.
Switching ON and OFF (fig. A)
• To run the tool, press the variable speed switch
(1). The pressure exerted on the variable speed
switch determines the tool speed.

• To lock the tool in OFF position, move the
forward/reverse slider (2) to the central position.
Operation (fig. A)
• Select forward or reverse rotation using slider (2).
• Place the tip of the driver bit in the screw head.
• Keeping the tool in line with the screw, apply
forward pressure to the tool as it contacts the
work surface.
• Press the variable speed switch (1).
• After tightening, check torque with a torque
wrench.
Tightening time
Your Elu Impact Driver tightens most fasteners in
few seconds. The proper tightening time in relation
to torque must be determined by experience.
Excessive tightening may damage the tip
of the driver bit and the head of the
screw.
The use of impact accessories is recommended.
Consult your dealer for further information on the
appropriate accessories.
Maintenance
Your Elu Power Tool has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Lubrication
Your Power Tool requires no additional lubrication.
Cleaning
• Unplug the charger before cleaning the housing
with a soft cloth.
• Remove the battery pack before cleaning your
Power Tool.
• Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly
clean the housing with a soft cloth.
