INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

HOW TO USE Place the car seat in side the vehicle and sit the child in the car seat.
Place the seat belt guide in one of the slots provided, but paying particular
attention that it is correctly fitted. (Fig 24) Pass the vehicles abdominal belt in to
position under the armrest, but on top of the child's pelvis (Fig 25). NB: Pay
particular attention that the seat belt is not twisted in any way. Insert the vehicles
diagonal belt D in the seat belt guide U (Fig 26). Remove any slack in the harness
and make sure that they are not twisted in any way (Fig 27).
Group 3 stage 22 – 36 kgs (Fig 4)
For children of between 22 – 36 kgs the car seat must be used without the
backrest.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BACKREST To remove the backrest a screwdriver is
required. With the screwdriver unscrew the two screws on either side of the car
seat (left and right) Fig 28. Lower the backrest to the horizontal position then
lift up at the rotating points between the seat and the backrest (fig 29 & 30).
NB: Keep all dismantled components, as it is obligatory to reinstall them should
the car seat need to be re-used with the back rest in place. To reinstall follow
the instructions described above in reverse order.
HOW TO USE Place the car seat in side the vehicle and sit the child in the car
seat. Pass the vehicles abdominal belt in to position under the armrest, but on
top of the child's pelvis (Fig 31 & 32). NB: Pay particular attention that the seat
belt is not twisted in any way. Position the seat belt guide to correspond with
the shoulder height of the child and passing through the vehicles diagonal belt
D (Fig 31). Finally to tighten the seat belt pull on the extremity of the central
adjuster of the car seat as shown in fig 32.
REMOVING THE UPHOLSTERY To remove the upholstery from both the seat
unit and backrest for the purpose of washing, it is necessary to remove the
harness as indicated in Fig 21 & 22. To follow remove the backrest from the
seat unit as described. Once the backrest has been removed from the seat unit,
it is possible to remove the upholstery from both parts by sliding downwards
as indicated in Fig 33. The upholstery of the car seat can be removed and
washed in warm water (max 30°) with a neutral detergent, then left to dry on a
flat surface away from direct heat or sunlight. DO NOT tumble dry, DO NOT
iron. Do NOT use solvents. Do not use the car seat without the fabric upholstery
being in place.
