Precautions
Points to observe for safe usage
Read this manual carefully before using this item and its components.
They contain instructions on how to use this product in a safe and
effective manner. Caliber Europe BV cannot be responsible for problems
resulting from failure to observe the instructions in this manual.
Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem.
Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product.
Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repairing.
Product cleaning.
Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more
severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else
has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.
Temperature.
Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C
before turning on the device.
Below the descriptions of the features/options of the HCG 007. The number between the "(...)" refers to the key
or c onnections on the unit. The illustrations can be found in the front of this manual.
Connection and clock set
• Plug the power cord into a 230~240V AC outlet.
• T he electronic clock will turn on and the clock shows "0:00" flashings on the display to indicate that it's not
set correctly.
• P ress the [◄ TUNING / HOUR] button (2) to set the hour.
• P ress the [TUNING ► / MINUTE] button (3) to set the minute.
• A fter setting to the correct time, either press [TIME] button (1) once, or just leave it for 5 seconds.
• T o change the current time, the radio must be switched off – to turn it off, press the [RADIO] button (8). Press
and hold [TIME] button (1) for 2 sec. until the display flashes, and follow the steps above to adjust
the time.
Alarm setting
This product features convenient dual alarms. Each alarm function can be set independently, with a choice
of Wake To Radio or Wake To Buzzer. If either alarm is set to Wake To Radio, please remember to select the
desired band, station and volume level before turning off the radio.
To set the alarm time, the Radio must be turned OFF. To turn it OFF, press the [RADIO] button (8).
• P ress and hold the [VOLUME - / AL1] (6) to set the first alarm. The alarm time will display and flash and
either [
] (13) or [
• P ress the [◄ TUNING / HOUR] button (2) to set the hour.
• P ress the [TUNING ► / MINUTE] button (3) to set the minute.
• Choose wake to Radio or Buzzer by pressing the [VOLUME - / AL1] button (6) multiple times. The indicators
(13/14) wil show which one is active.
To use a second alarm, follow the steps above only than choose the [VOLUME + / AL2] button (7).
When the Alarm sounds, you can either:
• P ress [RADIO] button (8) once to switch off the alarm. You can see that the alarm indicator is still on, showing
that the alarm function is still activated and will sound the next day.
• P ress the [SNOOZE] button (5) to temporarily turn the alarm off for 9 minutes.
• If no button is pressed after the alarm sounds, the alarm will continue sounding and automatically turn off at
1 hour after the alarm time.
• T o disable the alarm completely, press and hold the [VOLUME - / AL1] (6) or [VOLUME + / AL2] button (7)
until the displayed time starts flashing, than short press the same button (6 or 7) twice and their indicators
(radio or buzzer) will disappear from the display.
Notes:
- T he alarm 1 (or 2) indicator will flash on the display when the alarm sounds.
- I f a later alarm sounds when the earlier alarm is still sounding, the first alarm will take priority.
- I f a later alarm sounds when the earlier alarm is in snooze, the later alarm will take priority and cancel the
snooze function of the earlier alarm automatically.

Maintenance.
If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Return it to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.
Placement.
Place the product on a flat surface. Provide enough space
around the product for sufficient ventilation.
Heat.
Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or
in direct sunlight.
