Repairing Hand Vacuum, Bat‐
tery and Charger
The hand vacuum, the battery and the charger
cannot be repaired by the user.
► If the hand vacuum is damaged: Do not use
the hand vacuum and contact your STIHL
dealer for assistance.

► If the battery has a malfunction or is damaged:
Replace the battery.
► If the charger has a malfunction or is dam‐
aged: Replace the charger.
► If the connecting cable has a malfunction or is
damaged: Do not use the charger and have
the connecting cable replaced by a STIHL
dealer.

Remedy
► Charge the battery.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow the battery to cool down or warm
up.
► Remove battery and reinsert it.
► Switch on the hand vacuum.
► If 3 LEDs continue to flash red: Do not
use the hand vacuum and contact your
STIHL dealer for assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Wait for the hand vacuum to cool down.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean electrical contacts in the battery
compartment.
► Insert battery.
► Switch on the hand vacuum.
► If 4 LEDs continue to flash red: Do not
use the battery and contact your STIHL
dealer for assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean electrical contacts in the battery
compartment.
► Insert battery.
► Allow hand vacuum or battery to dry.
► Remove the battery.
► Wait for the hand vacuum to cool down.
► Remove battery and reinsert it.
► Switch on the hand vacuum.
► Charge the battery.
► Remove the battery.
