Application
Operation is possible in conjunction with:
- Pressurised storage heaters
- Thermally controlled instantaneous heaters
- Hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with low-pressure storage heaters (displacement water
heaters) is not possible.
Specifications
• Max. flow
• Flow pressure
- min.
- recommended
- greater than 72.5 psi, fit pressure reducing valve
• Max. operating pressure
• Test pressure
• Temperature
- max. (hot water inlet)
• Water connection
(Lever head position right)
• Deck thickness max.
• Non reversible cartridge
Notes
- Major pressure differences between hot and cold water supply
should be avoided.
- To be installed according to local codes and regulations.
- This fitting shall not be recessed more than one-half inch below
the flood level of the fixture (-CL-).
- This faucet is not intended for the use with portable appliances.
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Prepare sink unit
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Mount faucet on sink, see fold-out page II, fig. [1].
Proceed as follows:
1. Slide on O-ring (A).
2. Insert faucet into sink. The hot and cold water supply hoses
should be put through the hole one at a time.
3. Fit brace (B), if necessary, with washer (C) and connect nut (D)
to fixing tube (E). Insert fitting key (F) into fixing tube (E) and turn
fitting key clockwise to fasten faucet. (Fixing tube may also have
to be turned with an 22mm (7/8") open ended wrench.)
Note
If brace (B) is omitted, deck thickness can be increased by 9/16"
to a total of 2 3/8".
The following lever positions are also possible, see fig. [2].
Connect faucet, see figs. [1] and [3].
For this purpose the supply hoses must be connected to the angle
stops (or other supply points).
The hot water supply should be connected on the left (marked red),
the cold water supply on the right side (marked blue).
Avoid cross connection. The cartridge is not reversible.
We recommend using flexible pressure hoses to faciliate assembly
or for extension purposes.
Connect spray hose and handspray, see figs. [4] - [7].
Proceed as follows:
1. Fit spray hose (H) through spout (J), see fig. [4].
2. Fit spray hose (H) from above through faucet body, fit spout (J)
so that it snaps into place, see fig. [5].
3. With shower head (K) in position, fit spring (L) onto spray
hose (H) from below, see fig. [6].

English
4. Screw quick coupling (M) with O-ring (M1) onto spray hose (H).
Hand tighten only!
5. Push quick coupling (M) with sleeve (M2) depressed, onto the
supply tube coupling (N) and release sleeve (M2).
For correct handspray (K) seating, make sure that spout cams (J1)
engage into handspray groove (K1), see fig. [7].
Open angle stops.
Check connections for leakage.

Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an infinitely
176 °F
individual variable limiting of the flow rate. The highest possible flow
hot - LH
rate is set by the factory before shipping.
cold - RH
2 3/8"
To limit the flow rate please proceed as follows:
1. With a 3mm (1/8") allen wrench, remove fixing screw (O),
see fig. [8].
2. Pull off lever (P).
3. Turn cap (R) 180° (Opening upwards) and remove.
4. Reduce flow rate by turning the internal screw to the right using
the hexagon-key (1.5mm), see fig. [9]. Turning to the left
increases the rate of flow.
Assemble in reverse order.
Maintenance
Shut off the hot and cold water supply!
I. Cartridge, see fig. [10].
1. With a 3mm (1/8") allen wrench, remove fixing screw (O).
2. Pull off lever (P).
3. Turn cap (R) 180° (Opening upwards) and remove.
4. Remove fixing screw (S) and pull off adjusting lever (T).
5. Remove screws (U) and detach cartridge (V).
6. Replace cartridge (V) or seals (V1) if necessary.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Take care that the cartridge seals (V1) engage in
the grooves on the housing. Insert screws (U) and tighten
alternately.
II. Aerator (13 131), see fold-out page I.
Unscrew and clean aerator.
Reassemble in reverse order.
III.Double-ball vacuum breaker, see fold-out page I.
1. Disconnect supply hoses (46 167) and spray hose with shower
head (46 348).
2. Remove mounting set and brace (05 334).
3. Take out faucet from sink.
4. Remove circlip (X).
5. Pull out and replace double-ball vacuum breaker (46 137).
Reassemble in reverse order.
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease with
special grease (order no. 18 012).
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I ( * = special accessories).
Care
Instructions for care of this single lever faucet will be found in the
Limited Warranty supplement.
= open (water flow)
= close (off)
= cold water
= hot water
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.
