Wrenches: 10mm, 12mm, 17mm, 11/16"
Remove exhaust rubber
isolator front of muffler.

Lower exhaust rubber isolator front and rear of muffler. Remove (2) nuts holding rear muffler hanger. Note: Spraying a lubricant or soapy
water on the metal hanger rod and the rubber isolator helps removal.

Remove appearance panel which covers the trunk pan (for ease of hitch installment). Remove the (4) plastic rivets that fasten the fascia tabs
to the vehicle. Note: Remove the center of the rivet with a screwdriver. Rivets to be reinstalled.
3.
Hang U-bolt on tow hook

Slide hitch up over exhaust tips and align hole in side arm of hitch with weld nuts in vehicle frame as shown in above.
5.
Re-install appearance panel.
6.
Loosely install U-Bolt
7.
Tighten all fasteners to torque specifications.
8.
Raise exhaust system back into position.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.

RISE position only.
Frame rail
Remove (2) nuts
holding rear muffler
hanger.
Tighten all 3/8 GR2 fasteners with torque wrench to 20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N*M)
Tighten all M10 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 42 Lb.-Ft. (57 N*M)
