BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Release the appliance from packaging.
2. Before connecting the appliance, please check if the voltage indicated on the appliance sticker
corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
3. Please read all instructions carefully to avoid damage caused by improper use of mishandling.
4. Wash the parts:
l Always switch off and unplug and allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning.
l Wipe the power base with a damp cloth, and finally with a dry cloth. Don't wash it with water.
l The container and the cover can be washed with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid,
and finally with a dry cloth.
ATTENTION: Never immerse the power base in the water or other liquid. Don't wash with caustic
or scouring cleaning agents.
IMPORTANT
l Keep the instruction manual for future reference.
l Never leave the appliance on unattended.
l This appliance is not intended for use by young children
or infirm persons without supervision.
l Do not use if there is any visible damage to the appliance.
l Don't let excess cord hang over edge of a table or
worktop or touch hot surface.
l Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
l Never use a damaged appliance. Get it checked or
