This manual contains important safety and operating instructions.
General Warnings.
1.1 Read the entire manual before using this product. Failure to do so could result in
serious injury or death.
1.2 The battery must be fully charged and properly connected prior to the use of the
vehicle. Do not operate/ride the vehicle until you have charged the battery for at least
18 to 24 hours. After each use, or once a month minimum, charge the battery for a full
16 hours. DO NOT leave the battery on the charger for more than 30 hours.
1.3 Never leave a child unattended with the battery, charger or vehicle. Direct adult
supervision is REQUIRED. NEVER allow a child to operate the battery charger or
handle the battery.
1.4 Make sure the battery properly fits into the vehicle. Never modify the electrical
system or force the battery to fit as modifications could cause a fire or electric
shock, resulting in property damage, personal injury or death.
1.5 Never allow children to charge the battery. Battery charging must be done by adults
only. A child could be injured by the electricity involved in charging the battery.
1.6 Use of the wrong type of battery or charger could cause a fire or explosion,
resulting in serious injury.
1.7 Use only recommended attachments. Use of an attachment not recommended may
result in a risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons or damage to property.
1.8 To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before
attempting any maintenance or cleaning of the battery or charger.
1.9 Examine the battery, charger and the connectors for excessive wear or damage
each time you charge the battery. If damage or excessive wear is detected, do not
use the charger or battery until you have replaced the worn or damaged part. Do
not use or charge the battery with a damaged cord or connector. Never lift or carry
the battery by the wires or connector. This can damage the battery and possibly
cause an electric shock or fire, resulting in property damage or personal injury.
1.10 Make sure the battery charger connector makes a tight connection.
1.11 Do not use the battery if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or otherwise
damaged in any way. Replace it immediately.
1.12 Do not use the battery if it shows cracks or signs of swelling. Replace it immediately.
Always wear a proper helmet when riding, to avoid the possible risk of
serious head injury or fatal crash.
