4.1. PRECAUTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
This operation must be performed by personnel authorized by the regulations in force regarding gas equipment or that which

is required by each country of the community.
• These instructions are only valid if the symbol of the country appears above the machine. If the symbol does not
appear on the equipment, refer to the technical instructions that satisfy the instructions required for its adaptation to
the conditions of use of the country.
• This equipment shall only be installed in places with adequate ventilation to impede the formation of inadmissible
concentrations of substances harmful to the health in the premises in which it is installed.
• The equipment shall be installed in an appropriately ventilated place in accordance with the regulations in force.
• The equipment shall only be installed upon a non-combustible surface.
• The equipment should be installed at a minimum distance of 1.5 m from any combustible material.
• Parts that have been protected by the manufacturer and its agent MUST NOT be handled by the installer and user.
• Check that the gas to be used corresponds with that indicated on the equipment label and for that which has been
calibrated by the manufacturer.
• Check that all equipment elements are correctly placed and that have not moved during transport.
• Check that the equipment has been correctly placed, in accordance with regulations in force for each country.
• It is recommended that the equipment be placed beneath an extractor hood to assure the complete evacuation of the
combustion gases and burning exhausts in the cooking phase.
• The equipment should be installed at a minimum distance of 200 mm from any lateral or back wall to protect them
from temperatures of around 80ºC that the equipment walls may attain.
4.2. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION LOCATION SPECIFICATIONS
The following minimum requirements must be complied with in the installation site of the griddles:
• It shall be a completely clean location.
• It shall be appropriately ventilated in accordance with the regulations of the destination country.
• It shall have the minimum dimensions required to place the griddle on top of it, complying with the temperature and
combustion safety distances.
4.3. SECURING EQUIPMENT
The griddles do not require special securing. They are placed directly on the surface, making sure that it is level and firm.
4.4. IDENTIFICATION OF GAS SUPPLY AND GAS USED WITH THIS EQUIPMENT
On the equipment specification sheet the following technical data may be checked to perform the installation according to the
destination country:
• Defined category.
• Gas corresponding to the category.
• Pressure in ratio to the gas.
• Nominal consumption Q
• Volume.
